Dr. Tamsen Thorpe is a clinical and forensic psychologist and owner of Directions CLS, LLC – A Center for Life Strategies. She has more than 25 years of experience helping clients.

Dr. Thorpe specializes in helping adults, couples, and families build the strength and resilience to navigate anxiety, relationship struggles, and family transitions. Using evidence-based therapy, warmth, and practical tools, we’ll work together to create meaningful change—helping you not just survive, but thrive.

Dr. Thorpe sees clients with general anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, phobias and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Dr. Thorpe specializes in couples therapy, helping partners enhance communication, resolve conflict, and deepen their connection. Using the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), she guides couples through life transitions and relationship challenges. She also has expertise in infidelity, high-conflict dynamics, and divorce coaching and co-parenting. She provides compassionate support to foster healing and lasting bonds.
